This chatbot is trained on over 40,000 unique pieces of data on United States Citizenship and Immigration laws, regulations, and programs for refugees.

It is built to answer questions with detail and accuracy, 24/7/365. However, it is still important to consult a USCIS officer, embassy or UNHCR official, or immigration lawyer before making any decisions.

The refugee crisis is real. Unfortunately, it is often pushed as a regretted byproduct of war and violence. Oftentimes, the harrowing conditions cause mass confusion. In times of distress, this simply creates a negative feedback loop.

RefugeeGPT attempts to alleviate this issue by offering a knowledgeable and helpful AI agent. It is trained on over 2,500 documents and encompasses over 40,000 unique pieces of data taken from the United States Citizenship and Immigration (USCIS) and United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) websites, among others.

It aims to assist refugees and the general public with laws, regulations, and programs related to refugees and asylum in the United States. It is built on Google's Gemini Pro, which enables it to reason through complexities and edge cases prevalent in US law and code.

In the near future, we hope to add data from other countries, offer support for different languages, methods to alter complexity and detail, and upgrade to OpenAI's GPT 4 model.

We wish to build a world where refugees and displaced persons can attain immediate and quality help. Perhaps even automate the asylum process with AI.
